I briefly considered the  NX model Honda , but it weighs a lot more than the CBX and I was not excited about the look.

I have read a bunch on the TriCity from Yamaha . A nice machine but the look is not giving me any warm fuzzy feelings , and I doubt we will see it here anyway.

I am considering the Honda ADVX 150 , but am concerned it will have enough power to deal with the rides up the mountains around here.

Yes, he is the man when it comes to buying and jumping in with both feet.
I really like what he is trying with the plastidip .  :430: I got him confused with another ADV 150 owner .

I think it's pretty flat where he is, and I'm in the piedmont region of NC with some of the best riding in the south east. I can go from my house and be climbing Pilot Mt. in about 20 min. It get's pretty steep fast , so plugging along at 35 mph up hill just isn't going to make it. That's why I'm thinking I need at least 300cc , heck even the CB500X is working a bit getting up there. It sure is a fun machine though .

I asked the owner from Blue Ridge, Ga. about the power and hill climbing ability.

He said that if you are pootling along at a 30mph pace the machine just sort of gears itself down and chugs along , when you come to a hill .

But if you are running at 55-60 the machine slows down to mid to upper 30's mph. trying to reach the top. :110:

If we still lived in FLatistan , 150cc might be doable  :062:

But up here in the Cackalaky ( gooberville) I'd get run over on a cow trail.  :087:
