New old owner

Hi folks,

Just joined the forum. Picking up a new to me but older model (2014) bike at the end of the week. Iíve had lots of bigger capacity bikes but looking forward to something a bit smaller, lighter and perhaps reliable?

The bike already has Hagon fork springs fitted but the standard rear shock so that will be getting replaced quickly as Iíve read lots about how the budget suspension lets the bike down. Not sure to stick with hagon or go rally raid level 1?

Hopefully a lot of mini adventures ahead.

Welcome !

My 2014 X has been great. The only fault I would note is a rear bearing failure that I believe was too early.

Do you want better suspension for offroad travel? The stock suspension has been ok, if a bit stiff, for asphalt commuting.

Enjoy.

Iíll be doing mainly road miles. Iíve started up a thread in the Ďsuspensioní section canvassing opinions.
