I've always thought Kiwi roads were in good condition, I was hoping to come over and hire a bike and do some touring when all this covid crap do's a runner. got some relative's over there.

Me too, I have changed the shocks on my W650 to hagons, the simpliest with no tuning, and no difference with the used original :155:.
When i have changed for schock factory models, I discovered a new bike! Better handling, better grip, better comfort.
Wilbers springs in the fork.

I put shock factory too on my previous 500S, but I couldn't find the gain I had on the W... a little better but not like i hope.

the improvement seems to vary according to the models.
There are different qualities in hagon, I think it's better to avoid buying the lowest one.

I have to say Hagon were pretty thorough when I chatted with them, type of riding, weight, pillion or just solo etc etc.
The other thought I have is I suppose choice of tyres must play a big part, I was surprised that Hagon sent a 5w oil but I went along with it and found the results excellent.
Bikes currently owned,1979 Honda CB550/4.
1988 Honda XBR500. 2003 Kawasaki W650.
2011 Kawasaki W800. 2016 Honda CB500X.
