Rear Rack

Is there an ordinary, no bells or whistles rear rack available that doesn't cost an arm or a leg?

Just looking for a rack, not luggage. And have just seen the SW Motech that would run me upwards of 3 bills to get and it's just a piece of metal. Think I'll be going the DIY route.

They do just the rack rails, that's what I have as I don't use luggage either.

The prices of motorcycle devices and parts are often ridiculously, lamentably, shockingly high.  That said, I've bought a lot of stuff that costs way too much, and will continue to do so.  If everybody refused to pay high prices, they would be lower.  And there would be less variety and choices. Pick your poison.  I just wish that a high price always guaranteed a high quality item and customer support.

Just bought one from Trex Racing that seems pretty basic and affordable. Should arrive in a day or so. Will comment further after I've installed it.

Chinese, of course. way cheap, bare essentials and not too uggly. And seeing the bike is hibernating I can afford to wait it out. Thx Motorboy.
(Edit) Well, maybe not. Says free shipping....till u try to buy it. Then the shipping is almost twice the cost of the product. And that for something that may or may not fit and may take months to get here. So that was Ebay.
