That's what I was thinking.  Maybe it's just the way the picture was taken?

The panniers are 26cm depth according to here https://shad.co.uk/products/shad-sh23-black-23-litre-panniers-d0b23100  In this case "depth" means width to me, so on their own they'd add 52cm onto the bikes width. The 3P system certainly reduces the waster space between the bike and the panniers.

The Shad 3P mounts certainly look like they push the cases out from the bike unnecessarily.

The width of my 500x without the Shad 23 bags is about 50 cm. With them mounted it's 91.5 cm. As I mentioned earlier, I like them except for how far they stick out for their size but they are very easily removed (after being unlocked).

I had the Honda panniers on my NC500X and liked how nicely they tucked into the bike. Was designed to look eye pleasing.  The shad look good from the side but look like they stick out unnecessarily.  Why didn't they design the bracket to come in closer to the bike?

Ya it's a new model only available in Canada.   :138:

NC750X.  I've got the 500 burnt into my brain.

I had the Shad 3P & SH23 system on my KTM 790 ADV, they work fine.  :047:
The Canadian distributor is Kimpex, I think I paid around $600 for the kit (plus tax ugh, but free shipping)
The possible problem with importing them is 1) shipping cost? & 2) duties?
They do seem to stick out a bit though... the Honda ones are crazy expensive...  :084:

Anybody have a picture of the Honda ones installed?

Cheers
