I went to look at one with a friend of mine at a Guzzi dealer as he was interested in buying one..
Downsides..
Dealer did not inspire confidence in any way at all.
Bike had to be delivered back to dealer day before any service and collected at the end of the next day ! To allow bike to cool down, so no taking the bike in first thing and collecting at the end of the day.
A guy turned up on one that was several months old, albeit it had not been used for all those months due to lockdown.
There was bad corrosion on the front of the engine cases and the black finish was missing from the cylinders .
Dealer refused to put in a warranty claim and told him he should wash the bike, dry it and treat it with ACF50 following every ride !
Any work on the bike had to be done by a Guzzi dealer or no warranty claims at all will be actioned, even if not related to any work that the owner or anyone else had done.
No courtesy bike whilst work being done unless you bought the bike new from them, and even then its only a maybe.
We walked and my pal bought a low mileage T7 cash the following week.
