One of the perks working part time in a dealership. The bike is shipped metal crates with cardboard around it. The dealer has to uncrate and put the other parts on the bike. The battery needs to be hooked up then the bike is started, tire pressure checked, gas, cleaned, make sure everything works hence the dealer prep fee (it doesn't get out of the crate by itself). Depending on the bike, most of the time, the front tire has to be put on. A little behind scene what happens before you get your new bike.
