GPS bar for 2014

Anyone have any experience with this product or any recommendations for something that won't cost $70 shipped to the U.S.?

I've heard of people making them by getting a bit of pipe and making the side tabs. From what I've seen there isnt much option for pre 2016. I'm looking at the same price if I was to get in the UK

Yeah I saw those threads. It seems outside of making one yourself the only good option for a 2014 is rally raid’s billet top clamp and gps mount which ends up being $93.00 shipped to the U.S. Really wish rallyraid had a U.S distributor.

Yeah I'm quite fortunate of being in the UK on Rally Raid front. I've also seen people make cross bars that just clamp either side of the top clamp and then use a bar. I'm considering the Rally Raid set up with a Garmin sat nav since I'm wanting to move away from using my phone.

Before I upgraded my X to RR Level 2 (my Montana is now on the triple clamp), I had the GPS mounted on the handlebars with a RAM rugged mount with ball adjustment.

Unless you specifically want it above the speedo, I would just get a RAM ball which replaces one of the Handlebar clamp bolts, a short arm, and the diamond or AMPS base to mount the Montana cradle on - it's very versatile, and having the GPS between your bars means it's better protected, less likely to vibrate over rough terrain, and easier to reach with your left hand.

Works as somewhere to hang your helmet too.

I have two Techmounts on my handlebars, one for GPS and the other for my radar detector (and yes, my 500 will go over the speed limit, LOL). Very good looking and very good mounting, never moves.

I've been using this item on my bike since 2017. I think I remember it being a bit tough to get it attached, but I really like it. I have my phone and a USB port on mine. The thing I like about it most is it gets the phone up higher where it's much easier to use the map without having to look down.

What are the yellow and green cables for? And did you guys just wire the black/ red cables to the battery terminals? Also any recommendations for mounts to mount this to the gps bar?
