A big G'day from Sydney, AUSTRALIA
on: July 02, 2015, 12:49:43 PM
Hello all,

Mark is the name, I'm 32 but a new rider so I am on my L's and just bought a 2013 CB500X. I'm new to the whole motorbike scene but loving it so far, possibly a little bit to much. My car is now a four wheeled soon to be rust bucket that is dragged out to do shopping once a week, but that is fine as I now have a superior much more enjoyable form of transport.

Ive joined the forums after looking at some of the topics and discussions on adding new parts to the bikes. Looking forward to getting some advice on parts and reading general reviews!  :002:

Greetings Mark from an Aussie living in Canada...don't worry, people on this site will find plenty of ways to spend your money on CB500X "improvements".  :002:

So far I've added handlebar risers, fork protectors, and looking at doing a bash plate and handlebar guards, and them I'm done, oh and yes, maybe footpegs, and then I'm done, truly.

Hi Mark
I've had my X over 2 years now and I still love riding it, so I'm sure you will too.
If there are specific things you want to know, I suggest you use the Search function as there is tons of info on this site gathered over the last few years.

Hi Mark and welcome. Great your loving the X,carry on enjoying it. Sound advice from Muttley on finding answers to all your queries, but there's always something new to add, and I'm sure you'll have some contributions too. Safe and happy riding.
If I can help somebody as I go along, then my living has not been in vain.

If you are taking the piss about riding on the piss, you can piss orf. ;)

Looks like a few of us Aussies here.
If it's too wet to ride, you might be underwater.
