Relay has yet to be done since it's a PITA to change, have to get under the tank . Plus its not here yet. So for now it's hyperflash city .I purchased the relay directly from CUSTOMLED.COM but as you see it's available on Amazon also.

you are welcome, it's always good to share ideas.
Now, when the flasher gets to you, we will need good pics of where to find it to make the swap.

Lights up bright Orange when turn signals or flashers are activated

Stays on super bright White as running lights ( as bright as the LED driving lights for visibility )
Turn signals on
Turn signals off , turns bright White

I'll have to look into this as it's a good way to 'install' DRLs. In the UK, the indicators aren't required to work as marker lights, so some wiring would be needed.....guess it's a case of comparing wiring diagrams

so just to confirm:

when running, both indicators are white marker lights (with clear lenses fitted)
when the indicator switch is operated, the indicator flashes orange as per
indicator switched off, returns to white marker light?

Finally had a little time to install the relay. Works great !  :152:
Take to side covers and the upper tank trim off. Take the two front tank bolts out. Loosen the single rear tank bolt/nut ( do not remove ) Pivot the tank up ( no more that 3-4 inches ) Prop the tank up. Pry out the relay with a long flat head screw driver ( gently) Connect the new relay to the connector and push it back into the hole. Secure the tank. Put all the trim back on and you're done !  :046:

Great pics and clear information....Thanks for sharing. :028:

Think I'll be investigating the UK/EU wiring in due course. If I do the conversion, I'll add it on to your post....just strikes me as a decent way to improve conspicuity without having to shell out too much for additional lighting and somewhere to mount it....
