Exhaust options that won't cook your luggage

Does anyone make a silencer that dosn't point straight at any side cases or saddlebags?

some people have made deflectors attached at the exhaust outlet. Others suggest Scorpion Taper might point a bit lower than others. Don't know if thats proved or not.

I have the Taper under OEM luggage no problem at all.

If you want to keep your stock exhaust, Givi makes a kit for the 2017 and beyond models which was necessary because of the exhaust changes and fitting of side brackets.
Anyhow, to the point, the kit (PL1121KIT, costs about $20 US) includes a deflector and bracket which works nicely, at least for the more recent models.

Was thinking about buying one but that looks plug ugly imo! Could you not just stick some heat insulating material under the pannier?
Anyone tried that?
