First real ride on my X
on: March 22, 2020, 02:23:58 PM
A sunny morning in the UK. Took my new X for itís first real spin, 50 miles. Went from Plymouth to Sourton service station on the A30 via Tavistock. The bike had only done 12 city miles and the brakes were still spongy from the dealers then after about 15 miles started to grab the disk as I would expect. After another 10 miles the bike felt like it was loosening up and wanted to move a bit faster, unless it was me getting used to it. Really pleased with it and find it has plenty of speed and power to handle Devonís lanes.

Perfection for lanes, light and beautifully balanced. And it will do all you can legally do on motorways.

Enjoy.
Brian.

I've been out on mine today too  :152:
Goes quite well if you give it some, initial twist of the throttle doesn't do much but then it picks up and is ok  :306:

A ride out for me around the Peak District National Park tried to stay on all the B roads but despite what the GOV said it was like a Bank Holiday as I passed though Matlock Bath.
