Thanks,I was unaware of the Oxford after market horn.
EDIT:- after checking out both horns the Oxford on claims 105db whislt the Denali is claiming 113db
They both look very similar though and the Oxford is less than half the price of the Denali.

Decibels aren't measured on a linear scale but an order of magnitude, this means every 2dbs equals a doubling of sound.
Of course it all depends on where the sound of each horn is measured from.
In the case of the two horns in question both would need to be measured from the same distance from each horn to get aj acurate reading but we've no way of knowing whether that's the case.
One thing's for sure, they both look the same so could possibly be the same product rebranded,if so you got the best bargain  :001:

Perhaps look up the decibel scale - it's logarithmic...
Every increase of 3db results in a doubling of sound intensity/acoustic power.
So, 8db is quite a lot to our ears.
You are now educated, & welcome LOL.  :001:

Whoa guys, it was an off the cuff remark, I don't need educating. If someone wants to go and buy a product they should do there own research and make a decision on what they find. Now you guys need to chill out a bit, lay back enjoy Christmas and look forward to a great new year.  :169:
