Seats

Has any one done some good measuring on the 2019 seat compared to the 2013-2018 seat-I would like a wider seat but not sure if It's worth it
It's not a big motorcycle just a groovy little motorbike

The 2019 seat is actually narrower then yours.

I'll have a 2020 stock seat and foam up for sale in a couple of weeks when my Seat Concepts seat comes in.   :028:

Are you fitting it yourself ?
I have the seat Concepts foam and cover here..got the adhesive...new small electric gun and decided to get some stainless steel staples...all here now so just need to get around to doing it.
There seems to be a bit of confusion over the fit as it seems to cover up to years 19.
It's the same kit for all years yet the 19 model year seat is different to earlier years....
The UK dealer seems to think it should fit...only thinks though !!!

Yes I'm fitting it myself.  I've installed their seat on previous bikes I've had and it's not to bad to do.  I have a electric staple gun that makes easier.  No need for glue unless you plan on using it between the foam and pan but don't use it between the cover and foam.  You have to stretch the cover to the pan and the glue could prevent this.  Also it does shrink some in the sun which helps to make it tight.  A little trick is to use a heat gun and carefully warm the cover to remove any wrinkles you couldn't stretch out during the install.

Seat Concepts verified that the seat fits the 2019 so it will fit the 2020.

I just ordered a 2019 seat . I'll post a comparison to my 2014 seat as soon as I get it, as well as riding impressions. Depends on which one suites me, one of them might be for sale here.

I know I'm a cynical old beggar but... we'd never buy a car with uncomfortable seats, yet with a bike.....???   :008:

So few bikes with any kind of adjustment available for the seats.

I have been OK with my seat all these years,  just want to try something different.

Everyone is/has a different kind of ass.  I haven't had one bike in the last 10 that didn't require a new seat so no fault of Honda.  I will say that the seat is actually better than most but not perfect for me.   :001:
