I've done 500 mile days on my NC750X and no issues with the Seat Concepts seat and I'm 57.  Maybe you just need a better seat?   :002:

BTW 500 miles days are overrated.

I think a younger butt would be my only full cure - I guess different folks different strokes -I had a NC700 that was a 200 mile seat max even after I raised the front-2019 500X same 200 mile max-now if I can get a comfy 200 miles I'll take that

I just ordered a 2019 seat . I'll post a comparison to my 2014 seat as soon as I get it, as well as riding impressions. Depends on which one suites me, one of them might be for sale here.
I see from your pictures you also use Chase Harper barrel bags-I have used many over the years and have two mounted on my X on the grab rails one for for small things like a water bottle and the other a back pack no need for a trunk-you may or may not know this little trick when they get sun bleached black liquid shoe die  makes them look brand new---- also where did you order your seat from

I bought a used Seat Concepts for my '18.
The original owner of the seat had it reworked a bit and must have selected the hardest foam available.
Worst seat I've ever had on any motorcycle.
I was able to get it worked on locally and I can now spend a couple hours on it without screaming.
Look closely at the foam you choose.
I have seen and sat on other Seat Concepts and they were very different/better than what I got.

I tried a seat concepts seat. Not enough of a difference from the original. Not worth the money in my opinion, better to get it custom fitted with different foam just for you. However donít know of anyone near me that does that and more than likely it will be cost prohibitive. Also I have tried two different Corbin seats, also not for me at all.
I have not had the opportunity to ride on the 2019 seat that I fitted yet. Work and after that heavy rain every evening. So letís see if itís any better. Having said that I really didnít have any issues with the original seat even on ď2 tank daysĒ, which is in perfect condition as you can see above.
Bought the 2019 seat on impulse and a little unexpected bonus money. :027:

On one side only, the other side is a large tool tube. Iím kinda ok with the barrel bag. Love the tool tubes.
