You lot darn sarf can just feck-right-orf  :046:

Wee Jimmy still hasn't officially loosened our shackles (cos she likes having us subjugated  :009:).
Still, finding an excuse, sorry, essential reason, to travel shouldn't be hard  :001:

Did a comparison ride this morning, pitting the CB5X against the 600 Transalp over a shortish local route. Will post it up once all the single fingered typing is done and someone wot can spell has checked it over for me  :152:

Enjoy your freedom chaps  :062:

I hope Scotland will get an easing of lockdown soon..... and that Nicola is not proved right by the infection rate soaring in England when everyone forgets to keep their distance.

I heard that new testing kits have arrived from China so they may help....   :008:

Good to be back on the bike, a short ride out to The Groves Chester always a good selection of bikes.

Managed a ride out myself on Friday and today. Clitheroe to Dick Turpins butty van..then Skipton,Bolton Abbey, Grassington, Kettlwell and the headed over towards Hawes but stopped short as reports if being busy...then home.
First ride with Rally Raid racks (two tool tubes fit perfectly inside them ) and also the Rally Raid footpegs ..they are really good.
They do sit slightly higher so need to adjust gear change a little but I was fine with the brake
They are big but flick back with my boot to get the sidestand down whilst sat on the bike.
Next...Scorpion can and link pipe.

And..just to put a smile on my face,I wire my Fitbit on my wrist and was bombarded with emails...congratulations,you have climbed 25 floors...then 50...then 75...then a skyscraper award for climbing a 100 floors !
And on top of that I had also achieved over 10,000 steps !
Now that pretty good exercise in my book in about four hours...and I choose and mayo at the butty van...top day.

Hi John,
Thanks for posting those photos from your ride. That old Matchless sure looks good although I couldn't help noticing the oil stained pavement under the motor. https://www.cb500x.com/Smileys/light/002.gif

Hi Joe, the owner assured me that it wasn't his oil leak  :164:

Passer-by Steve Manion, 30, said he was forced to brush shoulders with one of the bikers as they were so tightly packed. :019:

Mr Manion said: ‘It was disgusting. There were bunches of people brushing up against each other eating ice cream and eating fish and chips.

 :015:
Was has this country come too? I hope someone threw a chip at him  :008:

https://metro.co.uk/2020/05/17/village-taken-hundreds-bikers-flouting-social-distancing-rules-12717908/

:182: :192:  Naughty bikers for not following the "rules" (Not laws) :210:

I bet the chip shop wasn't complaining about selling all those portions of chips

‘Our lovely village does not lend itself to socially distancing safely.

Mr Baranek added: ‘We urge anyone thinking of coming to Matlock Bath to respect and protect our village and the people who live here by staying away for now.’
It's not his village, it's the village he lives in    :110:

I'm surprised Fitbit hasn't fixed that bug, or are you using an older Fitbit?
