I contacted SW-Motech in Germany about a stand and they wouldn't sell me one.  Told me they had one authorized dealer in Canada and they forward the information to them and would contact me.  I also emailed them directly.  Four days later not a word.  I just gave up and contacted my selling dealer.  The stand ended up costing me $250 CDN but at least I know it will be here on Wednesday and fit.  I remember when a centre stand was fitted on a bike when you bought it and now you have to pay extra if you want it.   :187:
So long story short you found and ordered a stand in Canada :046:
It's not a big motorcycle just a groovy little motorbike

My experience in the UK is that if a dealer is holding genuine Honda stock for and earlier model is that he will sell it off for less money so for a !5 model year it would be much cheaper than for a 19/20 model year..or he may be stuck with it for ever.
Especially on a part like a stand, not so much with more 'consumable' parts.

The stand I was getting from Amazon was a Chinese product but had a pin set up like the OE.  The reason I ordered it was because it looked exactly like the Honda stand but $100 cheaper.  Oh well, the Canadian government decided it's not happening.  Personally I feel it's the Canadian government getting back for the Huawei fiasco.    :008:

I havent looked at the ones on amazon but ali express and flee bay being analy retentive i would go over them looking at welds ect they are just different from the oem part and for the cost of less than 100.00 i would not buy them maybe amazon buy direct from honda or there supplier even though honda do get stuff made in china like a lot of big companies do .I have seen how the chinese work when you are there by the book ,when you go back to there way .

The OE Honda stand is made for the bike by the manufacturer - bite the bullet and pay the price.  How much do you put on peace of mind and safety?

I would all come down to an examination of the part when it arrived.  If the welds looked sound and the weight was proper with decent tube material thickness I would have no issue using it.

That said I did end up ordering the Honda stand simply because I didn't want to wait 2 months for a stand to be shipped from overseas.
