Well ill be buggered, decided to tackle issue today & yep sure found the broken wire. So now after 2 yrs, I will get it soldered then put it all back together & presto. Will let you know final outcome thanks to everyone here. So good to have this forum, otherwise it would have cost me $600 plus I got told to get it done by a workshop.

 :046: well problem solved thanks to this forum. It was a broken wire on the sender unit. Same as the photo already on this subject. All works now, everything back to normal 2hr job & saved at least $400 doing it myself, cheers all.
