Handle bar risers
on: June 26, 2020, 02:40:04 AM
I'm already getting a kink in my neck from the handle bar reach .
I went to the "MOTOWERK site but they only list fitment up to 2018 .

Measured my bar 1 1/8" and sent them an e mail asking if they had one that would fit my bar.
Got an e mail back saying "NO"

I only want the bar to come about an inch back from the stock position and don't want to mess about with cables and brake lines if I can .

Any suggestions ??

Stay away from MotoWerk if at all possible not nice people to deal with-so I though the same about the bars did alot of Google and found that the cables and brake hose are to short(which most bikes are) for more than a 20mm rise- and up and back would be very hard to impossible without some major redoing so I quit and moved on

Thanks for the Tip !!

There was another company that made a bar riser , I had it on my Triumph Bonneville. I'll look around and reach out to some of the guys from that group and see if they can help.

If you just want raisers try E-Bay- 20mm raiser using the Honda top bridge $20 can't see spending anymore than you have to-SW-Motech $80

I found a set in black on Amazon, should be here this week .
I'll post the outcome after I install them.

I used Rox 2 risers off Amazon and angled them back an inch. Worked perfectly for standing and were comfy when sitting. Available in 1 rise as well. The 2 ones were about the limit for cable length on my 2016.

2018 I went up an inch 1/8 and back an inch with generic risers I bought in Germany for my Suzuki, they fit perfect on the CB. I did release the cables from the wire holders.

Bar risers arrived, have a couple of questions.

I can get enough play on the clutch cable and wiring on that side
but the front brake hose/line is in some sort of a clamp and I cannot figure out how to ease it open so I can slide the brake line up enough ??

Any ideas ??

Thanks, Doug
