Sw Motec engine bars problem
on: July 26, 2020, 06:54:39 AM
Just trying to fit the left side Sw Motech lower engine bars. Supported the engine under the sump before removing front bolt. The holes immediately looked out of line. Tried more and less engine support, no change. Did not dare remove the rear bolt, should I have ? Eventually had to jack up the frame where it meets the engine and  replaced the original bolt. Have not tried the other side as yet. Advice please.

I had another look at the problem. Decided to do both sides at the same time. Was advised not to do this.
You really have to anyway and it worked out fine. I did support the engine. All lined up perfectly
.
Changed  over the sprocket to a 16 tooth while I was at it. Seems in a short ride to be very good. First gear is still quite low enough but a lot longer. The rest better spaced and more relaxed. Think I like it.

I'm hoping all your other gears are longer also 🤭🤭🤭
