Think of them as an opportunity to introduce yourself to other riders, particularly ones on BMW's or Ducatis.

I'm  a newb here, I picked up my new CB500X Saturday afternoon. I got home and popped the seat off to check things out, mainly to see what the tool kit consisted of. To my surprise and disappointment there's a square piece of foam, helmet lock? cable, fuse remover and a (1) allen wrench. I'm glad I found this thread, it saves a call to the dealer Tuesday morning.

What is the intended way of locking the helmet with that sleeved wire?

Feed it around the chin guard of the helmet, then hook both ends on under the seat before locking the seat back in place. Does anyone ACTUALLY use this by the way? Id rather have had a screwdriver!
