Title: New Member from Tennessee
Post by: Roadtoad on January 01, 2019, 01:26:22 AM
:080:  After reviewing numerous YouTube videos and various articles, I took the plunge today and bought a 2018 CB500X.  I was able to experience the common denominator mentioned in nearly every review.  The bike is just plain fun to ride.  And that's from someone moving from a VFR800.  Greetings to all.

I made the same move from a VFR800 (2007 in my case) to a 2018 CBX. The VFR is a great machine, but I am loving how fun and responsive the CBX is.

Another VFR800 owner here. My 07 is still with me. I bought the 14 cb500x ( from Pioneer Honda) for my daughter knowing that it would also be fun for me to ride. At this point, if I could only keep one it would be the CB. The little bike is fun on about any road and I ride it more here at home. The VFR is better suited for carving up mountain roads and I plan to keep it until I get too old to use it.
