Not heard about Samsung, but heard reports that the vibrations can damage an iPhone.

I agree the bike can live with regular oil but every article Iíve read supports the findings that full synthetic provides superior protection and better performance regardless of the vehicle. Is there any reason(s) not to change to full synthetic at the 600 mile service?

It's a cost v benefit decision I suppose. These engines are built to last and they'll happily run for years on the standard recommended oil without any problems, so one would question the point of using fully synthetic. Unless you're happy to pay the extra.

On the my 2018 and I think earlier models, if the ignition is on and the hazard lights are activated, and then you turn off the ignition, the hazard lights should continue to operate.  Do your hazards not work in that manner?

The solution is in your clutch lever and throttle. You get used to it.

I've got a Fuzeblok from Nippy Norman's. It's a thing of wonder. And free shipping at the moment.

Exactly, your first question on this thread was nothing to do with the original subject, but simply to voice your indignation in an effort to provoke a response.

Everything had already been covered in my initial response to Murph - which included a post script reminder that posting direct links to alternative retailers is not respectful in a dedicator vendor's thread. Apparently the forum moderators also agree.

That really ought to have been the end of it.

You know my recognition of how there is more than occasionally a biased defensiveness of RR on here, and I don't think there's anything wrong with questioning that when it occurs, for the sake of objectivity.

Three pages ago ought to have been the end of it. And it would have been if you hadn't, as you've admitted, been so annoyed that three people have asked the same question on three different platforms. Each driven by a desire to buy RR levers.

Shouldn't we leave it now? Though I think reasonable robust questions are ok amongst a group of people with the same interest, this is getting too personal, and we're all just riders wanting to ride. It's not making either of us look good.

You saw an answer (I'd given) on Facebook, but rather than accept that answer, there is now an extended thread on this forum, and the same question (from the same people) on ADVrider too I might add...

Asking the same thing on multiple social media platforms isn't going to change the answer - for you or anyone else.

Currently Rally-Raid cannot say when this product is likely to be back in stock, so if you're not prepared to wait - look elsewhere.

Their own Vendor section is not the place to link to alternative retailers - surely you must understand that?

I didn't ask the question on here. Someone else started the thread. I know that you don't know when RR might be getting levers back in.

I questioned the censorship of a single link to an alternative supplier, and an exaggerated warning not to post lots of links. It had nothing to do with not getting an answer on FB. It's a bit bizarre. And having posts edited to remove links is bonkers. That's all. It's the response it illicited (look at the appropriateness of your first sentence of your first response) which has sent things awry.

There are quite a lot of changes over the 2018 model.

I have seen reports of a middleweight Africa Twin based on a NC750.

That's a single hole exhaust. Didn't the 2019 have two holes?

Really? - you still want to keep this going? - presumably you are stuck at home avoiding Corona Virus with nothing better to do that argue on the internet...

For information - if you had read this thread from the beginning yesterday, which I had as soon as I noticed Murphs original enquiry - there was actually a response from another member prior to my own response, with a link to an ebay or amazon seller(which has also been subsequently moderated along with that shopping list someone else posted) - and it was that which prompted my ps. in my post asking to respect that this is a specific vendors thread, and not to continue with direct links to alternatives.

Like I said, if you want to open a new discussion regarding which are the best levers, or where can I buy levers, that is appropriate for any of the main modification and accessory sub-sections. If you want to specifically discuss a Rally-Raid product, and how that might relate to others, that is what this section is for. It is not for posting direct links to other retailers.

I know Jenny. Your response to the link was clearly the reason for my first post, which you'd have known if you'd bothered to read the thread from the beginning.

On FB you said you didn't work for the company and didn't know the answer to the question about the levers. On here you said they'd run out and have supply issues. Which answers the question of why they're not on the site, but not when they'll be back. I get that RR may not be able to give a full answer.

So, I made a comment questioning what the big deal is with someone posting one link to an alternative supplier because RR can't supply the product right now. And this.  :087:

Ironically I'm not knocking RR at all. I want shorty levers and if RR had them available then I'd buy today. They're very cheap which would normally put me off but enough people have recommended them to reassure me. As it is I've asked on FB whether they're available and also came across this thread hoping to find out. We still don't know.

So can we just get an answer rather than arguing about Mo's Tavern?
