Modifications, Accessories, and Appearance / Lower Foot Pegs
« on: June 07, 2018, 04:51:00 AM »
Well I installed the lowering foot peg kit from Moto Werk. I also changed the footpeg with a SW-MOTECH ION Dual Position Foot Peg Kit. "Bought the footpeg from twistedthrottle" and bought the Moto Werk lowering kit from Moto Werk. Both arrived within a day of each other. :001:
The fitment was excellent and has taken the pressure off my knees and when standing I'm at the perfect position with the bars. I nolonger have to lean over and get a sore back.

CB500X - General Chat / Re: Last bar on fuel gauge

I agree with the flashing bottom bar at about 3.0 litres to 3.5 litres in reserve. I just completed an adventure ride that had some backroads, freeway and some country gravel roads, the reserve started flashing around 370km mark. I was able to get to a gas station at the 400km mark and I squeezed in 14.56litres. Therefore, the bike could easily go 470km if you stay off the freeways, I don't think the bike enjoys the 140km/hr for sustained periods of time. Also at that speed it is a boring ride anyways.
