....Here’s the vid I watched to remove fairings......

You will see a bundle of wires going to take the fairings off. There is an unused plus with a cap in it to protect it. Just pull out that And the harness on the 12 accessory socket plugs right into it. It really could not be any simpler and once you have those fairings off you will see what I mean.

A couple of them are held on with not only screws and rubber pressure plugs but also some heavy duty Velcro so you have to give them a little tug for them to come off.

Great my video has been is a picture to show where the connector is located. Just pull out dummy insert and then connect plug from your outlet :-) Easy..

Out of interest, where did you mount the camera, or did you have a pillion? it's a nice angle to view from...

Yes there is a lot of trolls hiding around the corners there  :007: :038:

The camera is mounted on the left side of my helmet.  :125: Just ordinary GoPro stuff. The camera is a GoPro Session 5 with image stabilization turned on

Nice review, Sven.  Who makes the wind deflector you mounted on your bike?
Thanks, I found the deflector here:

Here is a day trip with my 2019 CB500X. Road between Sauda and Røldal in the southwest part of Norway. Part of National Tourist Route Ryfylke.

I'd highly recommend the trip.
Im glad to hear you had a great trip into my country. This summer has been very cold so far, colder than usual. But there was not much snow falling down in the winter, so the snow has gone early even if the weather has been cold so far (except a couple of weeks in the spring).

OK time has gone and I received my CB500X 2019 model 8th of March....It is now near 10.000 km. I have done a lot of videos and reviews of my new bike, you will find them on my YouTube channel:

BTW the world trip I planned is cancelled due to the financial challenges. But I did buy the bike I wanted for the trip. It will be upgraded to Level II Rally Raid in near future (waiting for order to be processed)...

Here is my 9000 km review:
