Valves checked at 48   96 and 144000kms   each time still within tolerances. never been adjusted. The bike gets used daily mainly commuting and I still change oil and filter every 6000km    Still getting 100kms for 3.7 litres

I hate to say it but everything is original on this bike ( apart from chain and sprockets etc) it has never let me down and runs perfect. The salt is a killer in the U K we don't need it here but I lived in Oldham for 45 years so I know. You see old cars here from the sixties with little or no rust. Happy riding  :124:

Just done my 162000km service. Bike running smooth as new. Not bad for a little 471cc twin. Here's :001: :001: to 200 000kms. Well done Honda

I couldn't agree more with UKU   having lived and ridden bikes in Britain and now in Queensland Australia its so much kinder weather and much less traffic. I struggle now in the winter when it drops to 7 degrees never mind sub zero with snow and ice. :190:

Just had 144000km service done. valves checked and all still within tolerances. Fuel pressure good. May need a new battery after 5 years service. Can't fault anything else. Here's to the next 50000kms

Hit a rather large kangaroo on my way to work. Luckily it was more of a glancing blow and my kneepad took the brunt. I managed to stay on and the roo hopped off dazed and confused. regarding the riding having lived in Northern England for 45 years before moving to Oz, my hat goes off to the high mileage commuters over there and other cold wet places around the world. I have ridden over there and know how bad it gets. Its a breeze over here in comparison. You guys must have some good riding gear to keep from freezing.
There are some fantastic rides around here [south east Queensland and northern New South Wales. The only weather problem is the occasional torrential rain or the extreme heat. I don't miss riding around the North West of England in the cold wet and terrible traffic. I just arrived home today after a 3440km road trip from Darwin NT.[in a car] The first 3000km there was barely any traffic and no hold ups.

uku 383 that's a good effort 1590000, I am hoping to get to 160000km that's 100 thousand miles and would of been unheard years ago on a bike.
Mine is mainly commuting and leisure rides. It will be 5 years old in February. No major faults and still even original battery. Runs like new and still getting 100kms to 3.7 litres

I have just reached 138000 kms  { 86250 miles]  I am just curious if there are many of you out there with higher mileage than this. If so how many.
Cheers
