Parts, Accessories & Clothing For Sale / Honda Fog Light Switch
« on: Yesterday at 06:58:20 PM »
This is the factory switch which fits into the accessory hole in the middle of your dash. Honda part number: 08V04-MJP-G50A

I mistakenly ordered two of these from overseas.

Asking $50 shipped in the USA.

I live near Denver, Colorado and I want to buy a different seat for my 2019, but I'd like to have a look at one and try it out before buying. They're expensive, and looking at pictures online doesn't really tell me if a seat will be comfortable or not.

If you live within a couple hours of Denver and have an aftermarket seat on your CBX, would you be willing to let me have a look and fit it on my bike for a quick test?

Thanks!

CB500X - General Chat / Gravel on the seat
« on: May 16, 2020, 01:50:52 AM »
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this perplexing phenomenon. I've only got a bit over 1000 miles on my 2019, but I've noticed already that every time I ride on a gravel road for any distance, when I get off the bike, there is bits of gravel and sand on the seat. I thought maybe I was kicking sand onto the seat when I dismounted, so I started to be very careful about my leg when I lifted it over, and it's clear that if I ride on gravel and then I stop and look down at the seat, there is debris.

I installed a Fender Extender yesterday and went out for a ride, and it still does it. I don't notice it coming up, but I suspect the front tire is kicking up a few particles which end up landing in my crotch.

It's not really a problem. I even rode in some rain today, and I didn't notice any water pooling on the seat--that would be a problem--it's just sand.

Anyone else?

Items Wanted / SW Motech Street Rack adapter for Givi Monokey
« on: April 28, 2020, 10:57:55 PM »
I'm looking for the adapter plate which attaches to the SW Motech Street Rack that fits a Givi Monokey box.

Twisted Throttle lists them for $34.95, though they're out of stock.

If yours is in good condition, I'll pay retail.

Iíve installed the SW Motech crash bars on my 2019, and there is a brace which goes across the front of the radiator. It doesnít leave much clearance in front of the radiator; itís about 1/4 inch (7mm).

Is there a radiator guard available thatíll fit in that space?

Hello everyone, I've just gotten my new 2019 ABS a couple of days ago.

I have Givi Monokey cases and I want to mount them on my new bike. The Givi website does not list the 2019 model, and an email to them has so far gone unanswered. I inquired through Revzilla, but the rep I spoke to there said he could not confirm that the racks would fit the newer bike since Givi has not said so.

Specifically, I'm hoping to use the side case rack: PL1121 SIDECASE HARDWARE, and the top case rack: 1121FZ SPECIFIC REAR RACK

A few passing comments I've read on this website and in other places suggest that the racks will bolt up fine. Others have said that they fit with a little modification.

Is there anyone here that has actually mounted Givi side case and top case racks on a 2019? I'd like to confirm that they fit (or not) so I can make the purchase and mount my cases.
