Modifications, Accessories, and Appearance / Questions about seat...
« on: January 23, 2020, 11:50:09 PM »
Hello, i have some problems with the original seat with the 500X.
The shape is OK, but the foam is to hard, after 2 hours the butt say  :080:!
I think going to a saddle maker, i know one and he had done this for my previous bike:

Yes the original seat on the S model really broke my balls... :087:

But the question is to be or not to be about the lombar support...
The riding position on the X is straight, so the support can be useful? Or not? More comfort?
It turn about ergonomics...
Two possibilities: only change foam, or change the shape too.
I'm not sure... has anyone study the question?
Thanks.

Modifications, Accessories, and Appearance / What is mounted on my 500X.
« on: November 20, 2019, 09:03:57 PM »
The windshield when i bought it, and the OEM handguard:

Windshield with too much no´se or to much turbulence, has finished on a shelf...

Engine guard, from top-block:

Givi mount fo top-case and suitcase:

The M5 has been replaced by a M8A, the suitcase holders have been removed to not damage the soft luggages.

On the handlebar, 12V on the left, twin USB on the right. And a thing on the gas handle, i don't know how to name it. My fingers can't squeeze the handle all the time.

Not visible, the warming handles. The buttons are on the side of the left handle.

If it's OK, this week-end i put the front fender extension and the chain oiler...
