This may sound Silly but have you checked the Big RED Kill switch on the right side bar???
You say you dropped bike on R/H side after all.
I have missed this simple thing myself - just a thought!!

Hi & Welcome to the X forum - like you I too moved down from the Crossrunner to an X and have never regretted it one bit.
The clincher for me was simply finding the crossrunner very heavy - I laid it on its side on a gravel drive at zero speed, while in France and although the anger and adrenalin at the time helped me lift it up, it made me realise just how heavy it was.
Now with the X its so smple - Have not dropped it but laid it down to find out.  :152:
So go ahead and enjoy and in a few weeks or so once you`ve got your bum on it come back and tell me if you think I and many others here are wrong!!!!

Welcome & Enjoy - I occasionally have a pillion in my daughter - last september we toured Germany from UK 2 up with luggage and quite a bit of motorway blasting - still returned 65 -70 mpg and was fine up to 85mph on autobahns without a struggle. I sure do love this little bike.  :305: :305: :152: :152:

Denali sound bomb is great - I have one too
In case no-one knows there is a specific mount bracket for the 500x made by Denali
So much easier than inventing a mount for oneself.  check it out.
Fits on engine casing bolts L/H side see images
