ABUS Granit 68 Victory X-PLUS no-go with the CB????

A warm hi to the gang.

Long story short, I have owned said lock a few years now and used with my previous bikes with no issue. However, unless I am missing something it seems that there is no way to properly use it with my 2022 model. All available spaces on the disc brake are either too large that it comes off (like shown in the photo), too small, or too inconveniently placed (too close to the rim) to be used.

Am I missing a suitable location for it or I should just forget about it and need to spring for a new lock? And on this subject, has anyone successfully used either the ABUS Detecto 8077 (with the alarm) or the ABUS Sledg 77?

    Thanks in advance

    I've got the Detecto 8077.
Easy fit and sensitive enough that you can't ride away with it on, as the alarm goes off the moment you stand the bike upright or move the handlebars.
    Worth it.

    Thanks for the info.
Just wondering, does the protruding metal ball thingy not scratch the disc when putting on/taking off the lock?

    Thanks in advance

Not yet.   And it's been on it every night for the last 6 months.
