I have had these about 4 months  now and ridden more than 2000k's.  I can safely (no pun) say they are great.
Comfortable, you can't feel the level two armour in the knees or hips.
There is also a bit of stretch in the denim and a thin lining on the inside to help the skin if you slide.
They are a little bit warm on the hotter days, but not unbearable.
Well worth the money in my opinion.

I am that pleased with them I ordered a pair of the AA rated easy rider jeans in the Black Friday sale the other month and I am waiting for them to be brought over end of Feb, review to follow.

I have a pair of Grinfactor jeans, which I think is the same company, now renamed Roadskin - good, comfortable kit at a great price.  There are some crazy videos testing these with belt sanders and other electric tools to show how tough they are!  They have a new armoured shirt/jacket which I might check out at the Scottish Motorcycle Show in March, could be good for those casual, warm day, ride-outs - it does happen (very) occasionally here in Scotland!!

My other jeans are by Oxford - they are a more traditional blue denim, great fit and a bit "dressier" if I need to be smarter where I am going... but for longer rides away I stick with my RST textiles for protection, warmth and waterproofing...... Scotland again!

Good review, but yes, slightly excessive.
I looked at them but decided they would be too warm for me over here :001:
