Rear brake caliper moved backwards
« on: June 15, 2015, 11:27:42 PM »
Is there anything that holds the rear caliper in place?
Or is it free floating, and only held by the obtrusion on the inside of the swingarm?
I wen to roll backwards today and could not.
Looked for obstructions behind the tire, and then noticed that caliper was at the 10 o"clock postion, instead of 2 o"clock
Brake line was stretched.
Small droplets of brake fluid on the muffler and swingarm etc.
Physically moved it forward to the correct position against the "pin
WTF?
Drove 10 miles home.
Pumped back brakes they worked for a bit. Then stopped.
Brake fluid level is at the "low" position.
No back brakes..
Help me!!!!!!!!!
