Funny how we like to keep the 'big' bike in the garage just in case, it's almost as if the 500 isn't enough (in your mind) but like you say, after a few months of owning 2 (or more) bikes you have to really justify keeping anything more than the 500. It really is a treat to ride and own. Everything is so simple, basic & user friendly. Might even still get the odd knee down action on the thumper .... maybe next year after the sludge & grime :( I think a blat round Cadwell Park might be a step too far though lol

you're right. my other bike is for sale. i wanted two bikes but find i never use the other one and cbx gets all the love

At 43, Mr. Maggit , you're still a boy. I've just bought a 500x and I'm nearly 70. I haven't had a bike for a long time but having tried a few, including the BMW F800, I put my sensible head on and bought the Honda. Great fun - I'm young again (at least in my head). Wifey thinks I'm quite mad!

All this is really convincing me to get one! The roads in Thailand make London seem quiet but at least north of Chiang Mai  it thins out. I bet Bangkok will be fun.  :087:
