May you have many years of continued good health, but it shows how precious each moment is & that it should be enjoyed to the full. Carpe diem. But I think we're doing that with our Xs are we not?

It looks like some of us are held together with string, plastic and bits of metal! I have 2 replacement hips.

63 here.  Gee that sounds lots older than I really am!  In my late teens and early twenties I had a few 'offs' but it was the argument with a truck that was the best thing to sort out my riding.  Some of the youngies really worry me: apparently they think they are immortal. (And they can't spell.)

Good on yer Dave!  :152: You are surely right - both my knees are held together by anterior cruciate ligament grafts but at least the knee grafts like the heart ones were bits of me just moved around a bit!  :087:

Cheers to all

Tonyw, have you forgotten that when you were young, you thought you were immortal, 'cos I bet you did.

Just a thought, should some of these posts be in the Maintenance & servicing, or Modification & appearance sections (of the rider not the bike)
