47 here. To answer the 30's question, I had an RC51 for most of them. A healthy sense of my own mortality (and back surgery) prompted me to find something with betters ergos and less twitchy acceleration characteristics  :305:

I've always ridden sport bikes but no longer on the street.. lol.. I've crashed so many times dirt and road racing my neck only only has about 80 degrees of rotation and I can't see the traffic around me unless I twist my whole back.. Which is really hard with sport bike egos.. So its standards and ADV bikes for me from now on, unless its a track bike..
