Just installed these bad boys. They are a solid metal shroud with a plastic overlay. Fitment was easy and they seem extremely durable. You will run into wind screen interference at full lock, but the benefit outweighs the issue for me. Plus, they are less than $30.

What ones are those? They sound and look like what I'm looking for!

Have a look at Acerbis.

I was looking at the acerbic multiconcept but can't find information on how well they fit, they sound like a good option with both short and tall handguards

I was thinking that the ones in the picture look just like the acerbis ralley pro x- strong hand guards.

I had them on another bike and had a slow speed low-side. They protected the levers and my hands though looked second-hand afterwards. Not as much structural integrity as Barkbusters etc, but they keep rain, small rocks etc off my hands. Another option by Acerbis if you'd like even more light that the inserts on the Dual Road guards is these:

Got a set to fit to my CB500x as I'd like some extra visibility. HTH  :002:

I had seen these; the difference seems to be in whether you want a DRL or a turn signal (but I bet you could hook both up as either during install).

I'm fitting the lights into my dual road guards at some point, just a DRL for me. The Vision ones will give a more focused beam I think, which can be altered to point in about 5 degrees left or right of centre.

Hi John, how are you planning to wire them? I have a set on order (well Chinese knockoffs actually) and want to wire them on with the ignition. Thinking of running them off the headlight feed - but not sure if the fuse on the 2016/LED headlight model can extend to the extra 4W per side. Nick
