A1M, Hertsfordshire...
« on: April 08, 2017, 09:31:17 AM »
Come to think of it, considering it seems to be a reasonably popular bike, I haven't seen that many 500Xs around in my travels, but... Spotted a nice  :305: red one going up the A1M this morning, ~8:45 between junctions 6 & 7... Was it you ?  :002:

Sometimes I take my red CB500X up the A1M when my car is out of action. I don't really use the CB500X as a long term motorway commuter though as I find the sustained wind noise, even with ear plugs, tiring over the course of a week.

When I used to work in central London, CB500X wins every single time over car (and bicycle on journeys more than a few miles).

I must say the wind noise in my helmet is very loud and I wouldn't like to travel more than 20mn at speeds over 55~60 mph without earplugs !

If it had a top box on, it could have been me.

I have no idea when or where I've been these days, or where I'm going. :002:
