A Day Ride Through Glencoe
« on: May 08, 2017, 09:57:12 AM »
I have uploaded a magazine article I had published into the Gallery.  This was a day ride last year from home, north on The Dukes Pass, through Glencoe and back down the side of Loch Lomond.

It's a full day ride, and a few of my friends are planning to do it in the opposite direction this year.....to avoid the late afternoon traffic coming down the lochside.

I hope some members might get a chance to do this route sometime - it's pretty spectacular!

Great ride to Glencoe today - CB500X, 2 Ducati Monsters, Ducati Caf Racer, Suzuki Bandit 1250 and a Suzuki Gladius.

We didn't do the whole route from my magazine article, but still covered 228 miles, plenty of fast riding (hit ##mph overtaking on Rannoch Moor) and bike is still showing 91mpg.  I was the only person who didn't have to fill up at lunch stop!!!!   What a bike. :001:

You've just admitted a speeding offense in that statement. Be careful what you post.  :187:
