I'd like to add my thanks to those above and echo their sentiments. We were with you all the way.

So I did my first post trip maintenance:
- Oil change
- Brake pads and fluid change
- Clutch and brake lever clean and grease up
- Chain adjustment
- Front running lights (replaced with good quality Phillips bulbs)

Here is a quick summary:

Oil Change
Nothing much to report here. I changed the oil and sent a sample to Blackstone Labs. The goal is to see how the oil was after 9500 miles on the trip. Once I get the results I will post them here.

Brake pads and fluid change
Jesus Lord. I should have done this before the trip. I did not because [insert excuse here], really, no special reason. On my next tour I will at least change the fluid if the pads are in good condition. Also, the front brake pad has a new part number from Honda, and I wonder if that is making it "bite" better the disc. In any case, the bike brakes way way better now.

Clutch and brake lever clean and grease up
I did this a couple times during the trip, specially after rainy days, but I forgot to bring grease on the trip and I was using Chain oil, which works but it is not ideal. If you have never done this on your bike, I recommend you to do it. It takes 10min and improves the clutch and brake feedback, and makes the clutch lighter.

Chain adjustment
The chain slack only increased by 0.5cm since I left on my trip. Pretty impressive. No stiff links, rear sprocket looks fine. Next weekend I will inspect the front sprocket.

I do have a PDOiler and I have it mounted so it drops the oil through the chain slider, right onto the chain. I do get some oil fling, specially on hot freeway days, however it is a completely trouble free setup, specially for touring.

Front running lights
The bulbs I got during the trip were super bad quality. I got some Phillips ones on Amazon and just by the looks of it you can tell how much better quality they are. When I dropped the bike, my right turn signal got scratched, so I got a new one online (still waiting for it). I noted it has a new part number, and my right signal seems to vibrate way more than the left one, I wonder if they fixed that.

What's next?
- Next weekend will be "clean the bike day". I will clean it so it looks brand new :).

- I am editing the trip video on my free time, soon I will publish the "Week 1" video. It is going to be awesome

- I knew our bike's suspension was "not premium", but during the trip I decided that I will get the Rally Raid Lvl1 suspension. I will do that after I financially recover from the trip :)

- After my fall on the trip, my bar end, turn signal, muffler and front right cowl got scratched. Bar and and turn signal are on the way. Muffler I am getting it from another member on the forum (thanks Britchris). As for the front cowl, I'll leave it as it is, it has only a minor dent, it will be the scar from the trip :)

- I am so proud of the bike. Watching all the footage from the trip feels like watching videos from someone else. I still can settle in my brain the idea that I rode through all that with my X.

Fantastic video! Great editing no unnecessary commentary beautiful scenery. Loved how you'd throttle up in the tunnels   :047:
Wish I could take the time off to do something like that. Thank you for sharing !  :001:

Nice one.

You are a tidy rider, if you don't mind me saying so.
Brian.

Great video, looks like it was quite the trip! I can't wait to for the day I can take a trip similar to this.
I don't actually own a vehicle with more than 2 wheels...
