Why won't the X drink fuel
« on: August 04, 2017, 09:25:18 AM »
I think I may have a fuel problem with my X as it's not wanting to drink fuel. As the other  week I travelled 276.6 miles over 3 days only using 12.21lts. Meaning the bike had done 102.98 UK MPG.

It's a bit crazy, isn't it.

I use Fuel Log on my phone and every fill there's a look of amazement - "How Many !".

I must be more enthusiastic than you, I hover around 79. Got it down in the 60s crossing Germany in a hurry.
Brian.

Not to start this debate again, but I've been checking my fuel consumption since getting the X earlier this year, just using the mpg readout on the dash -

Average - 89.5mpg/3.16lt per 100km/74.5mpg US
Best - 92.9mpg/3.04lt per 100km/77.3mpg US
Worst - 87.3mpg/3.24lt per 100km/72.7mpg US

Those are quite high figures I know, but I don't commute or ride in towns very much, so it's mostly touring on motorways and a/b roads at or around the speed limits....... :156:

I'm also averaging 3.1L/100 km. Very happy with that

I can't seem to get higher or lower than 55 miles per gallon (U.S.)
Sucks.

Try riding it like it doesn't have an "R" in its designation...
