Anyone have one?  Is it an improvement over the stock seat?

I have the replacement seat cover and foam, not the tall version. Too short for the tall version. I am a fat tub at 230lbs in gear with a narrow bony arse. The foam is way softer than the OE foam. After it gets warm under my arse, I sink down into the plastic seat pan. It hurts. I have tried beaded cover and the Maddog/Coleman seat covers with no relief. YMWV

That's no good.  Did you contact them about it?  I read somewhere that some get harder foam.  How long have you had the kit?

No need. I knew up front what I was buying. I was just hoping it wouldn't be too soft. Unfortunately for my bony arse, it is. Their foam is similar to memory foam. The warmer it gets, the softer it gets.

Maybe off topic, but on longer rides, I tend to wear bicycle shorts underneath.
It is not *the* solution, but it helps (don't buy them too small though..)

I wear men's running tights under my armored crash pants. The pants have a double panel in the seat with a little bit of padding. I've tried several seat cover pads on top of the SE seat to no avail.
