I have no idea whether it would foul the panniers and would suggest that you contact the company and ask them.

The exhaust however does look shorter than the standard one and my concern would be that hot exhaust gases would exit under the middle of the pannier.

Just stick a big cork in that hole in the rear of the exhaust can.

On a more serious note, the BlackWidow has a down turned tailpipe whereas the OEM is straight.  Also, the aperture of the BlackWidow looks much larger than OEM so the hot gases should come out somewhat slower and diffuse faster.  I would think this would reduce localized heating.

have emailed the manufacturer waiting their reply

prefer the shorter exhaust,  they do a longer one but not as keen on that

was just wondering if anyone has the same or similar setup

I don't have that exhaust, but my setup is perhaps similar: Hepco Becker panniers and a Leo Vince exhaust that comes up a bit higher than stock.

The top of the exhaust almost touches the pannier base. I was a bit concerned about heat at first, but I have now done over 10,000 miles with this setup and there is absolutely no problem.

The first question that springs to mind is Why? Many people dont realise that engines require back pressure to function effectively. If the exhaust is too big you dont improve performance necessarily. Do you want to change the look of the bike? Change the sound or improve performance?
