I have an EvoTech on the way. Looks solid and nice with a black frame and slight embossed EvoTech on the guard. High grade strength and fits proper on the rad.

Resurrecting an older thread.

How does the Evotech guard mount?  I can't quite tell from the photos if the metal tabs on the sides have anything to do with the mounting, and it appears there is no mount on the top, like there is with the other brands.

Bought a R & G, and guess what...it doesn't fit without bending the crap out of it.  The top mount hole is off by over 1/4".  So now I'm thinking either Evotech or Bruudt.  You can get a couple of really cheap ones out there, including from Walmart, but not sure those are worth it.  Thanks.

I can also add that the R&G does not fit the 2019X very well the top sticks out to far not flush-I'm about to go the FYI route-but the same guard did fit my 2014 very well
It's not a big motorcycle just a groovy little motorbike

The Evotech one is nice if you dont want bling stainless steel. I really like the OEM discrete look and it fits well on the pre 2019 bikes. I have just fitted one to my 2019 and although it fits and Im happy with it, it could do with a small tweak to make it bang on. Ive been in touch with them and they are going to change the design slightly.

Another good thing is the fact it comes lower down than most and protects the whole lower edge of the rad.

Order direct from Evotech and it is 52 with another 2.80 UK postage and comes superbly packaged.

The Evotech has a folded lip/channel on top that clips over the top edge of the rad. The tabs on the side are used to slide behind the inside fairing panels on each side. You will need to undo some bolts on each side to get things loose enough then slide the top lip over and the whole guard to the right hand of the bike to slide in that tab, then put the left panel back over the left tab. Screw it all back into place.

instructions on the product page.

The guard does have a slight twist in it. Due to the logo embossing they do but it pulls flat when bolted down and looks good.
