Mine seems to be off, it starts flashing after using 11 Ltrs with 6 Ltrs still left on reserve. Very conservative in my opinion but I will not bother go for warranty, I can live with it

I filled up after the bar started flashing and it only took 3.6 gal(US).  I should have had a whole gallon left in the tank.
Woot. woot.

I have a '13.
Last bar = c1.5 US gallons.
Flashing red = c0.6 US gallons.
It's not a sport unless you can suffer massive internal injuries.

The 2019 gives you 1 gallon reserve.  Once you hit reserve the dash starts counting fuel usage up in tenths of a gallon.  Calculating my fill up yesterday, I can run just over 300 miles on a tank of gas.  That's better than my KLR.
Woot. woot.

My 2016 is also the same. I think it started behaving this way after a long journey where I did use some of the reserve tank before I filled up, I'm hoping it'll fix itself someday.

Did my own "experiment" with my 2018. My bike used (according to the on board computer) 1.6 litres of fuel after the bar started flashing. I topped up the bike with 15.72 litres of fuel. Thus, according to my math (and Honda's info stating a 17.5 litre fuel capacity), I had approximately 1.8ish litres of fuel left in the tank before the fill up. I traveled approximately 58 km on that 1.6 litres. The total amount of fuel in my reserve would seem to be about 3.5 litres (just shy of 1 US gallon).

The total amount traveled on that 15.72 litres of fuel was 461 km. Am I going to do that again. Only if desperate. I use my 500X to commute to work in the summer. I usually fill up after 3 days and put in just over 12 litres of fuel. If I use my truck to come to work, I use that much fuel in one round trip. Personally, I'm quite happy with my fuel economy.
Ill think of something later

That's very good info ...I was astounded how far I could and did go on "reserve" when traveling outwest. Highest I put in was 16.75 litres ...I thought it was a 17 litre tank.
