Grip Puppies
« on: September 28, 2018, 10:17:19 AM »
Hi,
My grip puppies have compressed almost flat so i have removed them and replaced them with 1.99 foam bicycle grips, i had a ride on them this morning and they were far better at removing the vibrations.
I think the 13.99 they ask for them is far too much for two peices of foam, i will wait and see how long they last now, has anyone else tried an alternative?.

Fourteen quid for a pair of Grip Puppies?
I'm glad I live in the USA.
I paid $6.00 for a knock-off pair on ebay.
Cycle grips are a good option, especially if the feel better and are less expensive.
Ride safe.
It's not a sport unless you can suffer massive internal injuries.

have had great results from using tennis racquet wraps
I use the cushioned ones and they fatten up the grips. The non-cushioned would leave the grip a smaller diameter.
They are about 4 dollars at a discount store (cushioned are sold each) and non-cushioned are about 5 or 6 dollars for a pair.
They won't work with heated grips.
