Greetings from Oz
« on: November 30, 2018, 01:10:13 AM »
G'day all,

I've recently moved to NSW from the San Francisco Bay area, and just a few weeks ago bought a gently used 2016 X. I left a V-Strom in the US which I enjoyed, but getting on in years didn't want another big and top-heavy bike. This one popped up on Gumtree at a good price so I snapped it up.

Have a Givi top case and mounting rack on order which should arrive early next week, and then will look forward to using the moto for local errands and the occasional day trip or more.

I'm on some other moto forums with the same handle, including bayarearidersforum.com, advrider.com and stromtrooper.com.

Welcome to the forum. I had a 650 Strom before getting my X as well. Very different bike indeed.

Hi Rodr
 :400:
Riding bikes in Oz looks lovely if Captain Cranky's CBX YouTube posts are to be believed! He's also on this forum.

He lives in one of the best riding areas of Australia. The tablelands up behind him are superb for riding.  The roads up and down the range just pure fun.
Why Coff's? Are you working there?
