Only done 150 miles due to weather etc but it feels very similar to the 500.

However, it’s a bit bigger and has a more substantial feel to it, the gearbox is less clunky, it has a lot of torque and needs fewer gear changes and its engine has a bit more grunt to it.

Happy with it, as I was with the 500.

First he'll have to admit the 500X is a better bike  but being bikes are such a personal thing maybe it's right for him-- not me -I had a 2012 NC700  sold it and bought a 2014 500X to me the 500X is a better bike all the way around
It's not a big motorcycle just a groovy little motorbike
