144 Mm (mega meters or 89000 miles) is amazing.

I've shared my mere 40,000 mile pic with few friends, and they are universally amazed. We're short on motorcycle commuters here I guess.

It's a big achievement to get so far on any bike. Oldhamer has definitely done well! But to be fair to you guys, it's a big ask to get that distance under your belt with your harsh winters. In Australia, we're fortunate enough to (in most places) not have to deal with snow and ice.

40,000 miles for a North American rider is definitely a number to be respected!

I couldn't agree more with UKU   having lived and ridden bikes in Britain and now in Queensland Australia its so much kinder weather and much less traffic. I struggle now in the winter when it drops to 7 degrees never mind sub zero with snow and ice. :190:

I bet even the high mileage guys say they need to get out more! Time on the bike is time well spent.

Just hit 14K miles today!  This winter has been bad for riding this year.  I was figuring on being at 15K by this time.  I guess the silver lining is the 16K service is getting pushed off a bit.
