I realize I'm really late to this parade but I just ride a friend's CB300R today.  My wife has a 300F so I was astounded at the difference.  Light, great ergonomics.  If Honda could put the 500F on the same 40 pound weight loss program, that would be one fun, smooth, flickable motorcycle.  I have the 500X myself so I'm used to the much more refined nature of it compared to the 300 engine. I haven't ridden the 650 but I suspect we won't see a 500R because they would be too closely positioned in the market from Honda's point of view I'm sure.  Still, a 500 in the range of 380 pounds? Could be
pretty sweet.
