Couple on a pair of Xs going Alaska to Argentina.

Stumbled across a video on Instagram of an orange Rally Raided X being hoisted onto a boat in Panama to cross the Darien Gap. Did some research and found their website, which doesn't have much. Their Instagram has a lot more content.

Apparently they're going for a Guinness Book World Record as oldest couple doing this trip on separate bikes. Thought I'd share for any of you that want to follow some touring Xs.

My intention has always been to turn my X into a RTW bike, so I'm always interested to see others doing trips on the bike.

I like the orange version.... :028:

I tend to avoid instaspam and farcebook, but I might make an exception for this.

So, assuming it's on the cards, of all the places you'd like to visit, which country would you most like to see?

54 years old - pah - just a toddler.

It's the "couple on separate bikes" that might get them a record.

I do admit, that reaching 60 we decided to ride to Rome as a meaningful milestone but that was on bike, clearly not in their league. The cobbled streets of Florence ruined the VFR750's head bearings but otherwise a nice trip though often too hot.
